Withdrawal Policy

What is our Withdrawal Policy?

As part of our commitment to providing truly superior service, we make every effort to ensure that your withdrawal request is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Please note that all amounts displayed in “$” in this Withdrawal Policy refer to CAD.

Withdrawals may only be made by the holder of the account and may only be transferred to an account of which the player is a legal holder. Players must not transfer any money between themselves through www.casino.ca, www.poker.ca and www.888sport.ca

Players are permitted to withdraw funds from their player account only after we have undertaken the appropriate verifications and received the appropriate authorizations that the player may withdraw such funds. This verification and authorization process is undertaken in order to prevent criminal activity, fraud and ensure funds are being transferred to an account of which the player is a legal holder.

Main Verification Documents

  1. Photographic ID: A copy of a current photographic ID is required for your first withdrawal request. This photographic ID can be in the form of a copy of a Passport, Driver's License or Government ID card. Specifically it is the photograph page of the ID that we require for our verification checks. Please ensure that your name, photograph and signature are visible on the document.
  2. Credit/Debit Cards: A copy of the front and back of the credit/debit card(s) used to fund your account. Please ensure that all details are clearly legible to enable prompt and accurate verification. For security purposes block the middle eight numbers on the front of the card copy and the 3 digit security code at the back of the card copy.
  3. Proof of address: This may be submitted in the form of a utility bill or a credit card statement. It should be a recent document showing your full name and address as registered on your account with us. If you provide a credit card statement please ensure that you blank out the eight middle numbers of the credit card.
  4. Notarized documentation: Your documents will need to be authenticated by an appropriately qualified Notary/Solicitor and signed and stamped as proof of legitimacy.

Note: In some cases, depending on the payment method used to fund your account, you may be asked for one or a combination of the aforementioned documents, or additional documents not included in the list above.

Note: Social Insurance Number (SIN) and health care cards are not acceptable for verifying identity and will not be accepted.

The following is an explanation of how the withdrawal process works and 888 Withdrawal Policy:

At 888, the method(s) by which we pay your withdrawal is directly dependent upon the payment method(s) by which you have submitted your deposit(s) in the past, and the amounts of those deposit(s).

When you deposit to your 888 account by Visa credit card or INTERAC e-Transfer you accumulate what we refer to as a positive "Member Transaction Balance"* (please see Withdrawal Policy below for definition), for that particular payment method.

When you request a withdrawal, if possible, your withdrawal will be paid automatically to the payment method(s) for which you have established a positive Member Transaction Balance (please see Credit card **Exceptions below).

  1. On Monday you deposit $50 by Visa credit card;
  2. On Tuesday you deposit $50 by INTERAC e-transfer;
  3. On Wednesday you deposit another $50 by Visa credit card;
  4. Your Member Transaction Balance now equals $150:
    1. $100 on Visa credit card;
    2. $50 on INTERAC e-transfer;
  5. On Sunday you request a $450 withdrawal.

The first $150 of your withdrawal (up to your Member' Transaction Balance) will be automatically paid to you in a manner such as follows:

  1. $100 will be paid to your Visa Credit Card Account(s) (please see Credit Card **Exceptions below);
  2. $50 will be paid to your INTERAC e-transfer Account;
  3. Your Member Transaction Balance now equals 0.

Your $300 "Remaining Withdrawal Balance"*** (the amount above your Member' Transaction Balance - please see Withdrawal Policy below for definition) will be paid to you according to your chosen payment method(s):

  1. Visa credit card(s) (in accordance with the withdrawal limit permitted by the Visa credit card issuer - please see Credit card **Exceptions below), or;
  2. INTERAC e-Transfer (if you have deposited to your 888 account by this payment method in the past), or;
  3. Wire Transfer.

  • *** = Remaining Withdrawal Balance (see Withdrawal Policy below for definition).

Please note: Credit card **Exceptions

(Non-credit card users please skip below to the next section of this document):

**Visa Credit Card Withdrawals: Due to regulations imposed by issuers of Visa credit cards, 888 is not permitted to pay withdrawals to Visa credit cards issued in specific countries (please see drop-down list below to view these countries). Furthermore, due to regulations imposed by some issuers of Visa credit cards in countries not included in the drop-down list below (non-listed countries), 888 is not permitted to pay withdrawals to certain Visa credit cards. Therefore, deposits made using these particular Visa credit cards will not be counted towards the *Member Transaction Balance (see Withdrawal Policy below). Members who have deposited to their 888 accounts via these particular Visa credit cards shall receive withdrawals according to section three (3) of the Withdrawal Policy, below.

Please see drop-down list below, specifying countries where certain Visa credit card issuers do not permit withdrawals to be paid to Visa credit cards:

**MasterCard withdrawals: due to regulations imposed by issuers of MasterCard credit cards, 888 is not permitted to pay withdrawals to MasterCard credit cards. Therefore, deposits made by MasterCard credit cards will not be counted towards the *Member Transaction Balance (see Withdrawal Policy below). Members who have deposited to their 888 accounts via MasterCard credit cards shall receive withdrawals according to section three (3) of the Withdrawal Policy, below.

In addition, with respect to the use of Paysafecard, although you may deposit through such payment method, 888 will not pay withdrawals to such payment method, therefore deposits made through these payment method will not be counted towards the *Member Transaction Balance (see Withdrawal Policy below). Members who have deposited to their 888 accounts through such payment methods shall receive withdrawals according to section three (3) of the Withdrawal Policy, below.

Please note the following important withdrawal information (pertinent to credit card and Non-credit card users):

Withdrawals requested within the same 24 hour as the deposit, via the same payment method, may be combined as one payment.

In most cases, withdrawal payment credits will be posted as separate transactions, and will not cancel charges resulting from your deposit(s) to your 888 account.

Should you have not actively used your chosen payment method to deposit to your account for more than 12 months, this withdrawal option may no longer be available.

If your withdrawal request is for less than the minimum allowable amount, listed below, the funds will be returned to your Bankroll:

  • The minimum withdrawal for all payment methods accepted by us is $5.

Please note that with respect to withdrawals, some payment methods implement a maximum amount which may be withdrawn.

Occasionally, your authorization or some documentation may be required to process your withdrawal request, and we may ask that you sign a list of your previous deposits to your 888 account.

In some cases where account verification is required for completing your request, we will return any pending withdrawals to your bankroll until the verification on your account is complete. If your withdrawal remains in a pending status and is not returned to your bankroll immediately, you will have 7 days to complete your account verification before your withdrawal is reversed and returned to your bankroll.

Note: Please notify us immediately should your credit card(s) be lost, stolen or cancelled or should your E-wallet status change, so we may investigate their status and confirm that payments may/may not be received.

We reserve the right to delay and/or stop the processing of withdrawal requests until final approval has been received for any outstanding deposit transactions.

Bonuses may be withdrawn only after all Bonus Policy requirements have been satisfied.

If you attempt to withdraw any funds from your account, you will forfeit all of your Restricted Funds (the total of bonus funds that have not yet met the wagering requirement and any winnings associated with such bonus funds - which includes without limitation Free Bet Tokens, free spins, FreePlay and Jackpot Vouchers) and any related winnings with respect to such which have not been converted to Available Funds (those funds that you have deposited and any winnings derived from such funds as well as any bonus funds that have met the applicable wagering requirements).

Your bank or payment processor may levy a fee to process your withdrawal. In the event that we terminate the offering of our business in any specific country, payouts will be subject to reasonable processing charges.
